Tilapia fish. Tilapia are a resource natural to Mozambique that have been farmed for over 2500 years. Due to war and famine this resource has virtually disappeared. Tilapia are renown for their ability to reproduce quickly and being disease resistant, making them a very hardy fish. MGK farms Tilapia on a large scale in order to help co-ops start their own fish farms which provide a constant source of income and protein in their diet year round.
